I still see new folks joining teams. Not just developers but SVP and VPs in the Predix org. Is GE not in a cash crunch? Should it not shed and optimize instead of hire from outside.

You must understand they are moving from higher paid experienced workforce to young lower paid employees. I have not seen any svp or vps being hired but if they are it doesn't make sense with the company shrinking. Ruh indicates more clarity in next couple of weeks, but don't count on it.
