It was announced today that the SVP of Global HR has given his resignation after a 9-year tenure with the company, effective December 1st. This another member of the senior leadership leaving and joining the mass exodus of VPs, SVPs, and Executives over the past 6-months. This departure is significant as it is the global leader of human resources. Did he finally have enough of the destruction of the company? Were the mass US cuts all his design? Did he cut too deep? Does he know of company sale or pending mass layoffs in the new year? Does his departure signal that the final collapse or end of SungardAS is near?

Any news on yesterday's layoffs.
Was it across the board ?
He beat the rush. Layoffs today for the umpteenth time in the last 5 years.
Yeah, he was asked to leave. No need for him. This company has most employees in India, so why have a global HR leader in the US? Won't surprise me if his replacement is in India and have all of HR functioning out of India in the future.
Probably was asked to leave. Layoffs happening today
Probably not that nefarious. Just another person that sees writing on the wall. Given the state of declining option value, it most likely makes more sense to get another gig than to hang on waiting for the big payoff. Not sure who in their right mind would buy this decrepit shell of a company anyway.
