There will definitely be employee actions on Wednesday 10/4 in the form of layoffs.
This layoff event is being held so tightly that even the directors don't know what is going on. VPs are making the employee decisions on who stays and who goes so this will be a major event in the life of the company.
That along with the number of boxes being staged in the shipping departments is pretty frightening.
looks like they will let you keep email access till tomorrow. Then they will do one mass deactivation of all affected employees.
The big question is if it will be considered a plant closing...then the WARN act kicks in and CA employees will get an additional 60 days payout.
