There are numerous Field Technician jobs in New York posted on the Spectrum careers website (10/1/17) Are these union positions?

There are no unions above the City. Yes in the city they are scab jobs, yes they will work you like dogs, on things you do not know how to do. Time Warner would of met an agreement by now. . Charter, the idiots that think they know how to run things better than TWC did for the last 50 years, is slowly ruining the company and the sh--ty yet dependable image they worked to maintain for years.
With 7 months of no pay, we could have bought medical benefits! I'm glad the local 3 guys will have a great Christmas! No loss there! Brothers and sisters have lost homes, cars, spouses and income and now jobs! If we ever go back it will based on seniority so a lot of us are fighting for nothing. To be clear we have been fighting for nothing this whole time cause I lost more than I will ever recoupe! It is legal to replace workers, my dad is a lawyer and has confirmed - it happened to all the air traffic controllers - google it. Any strike that goes on this long is no longer a strike - it's a group of fools that left their jobs with no intent on returning. F# these rally's, they are useless and tactics by the union to stall us. All they care about is their precious JIB, not us! Local 3 is useless! I am not scabbing because I know the deal with the local 3 wanna be thugs. I'm not scared, just don't need the drama! Let's just go back - I know that over 300 people crossed - that's because they are the smart ones unlike us. Local 3 is the dumbest old school union ever - go CWA!!
Its employment. Unlike the morons still on strike. Fighting to work for a company they hate so much. Don't understand how they think they can tell a company how to run it's business. Cutting cables like its going to get them somewhere. Just doing customers more harm than good. Its a joke.
