Thread regarding Qorvo layoffs

My Thoughts

Going into this merger, TQ had activist investors seeking to break up the company. Meanwhile RF was plodding along, but not really making any money.

So now we are three years into the merger, gross margins still low and still playing second fiddle to Sky in the mobile space. I guess these layoffs are a sign that the merger has not achieved its cost cutting goals?

I'm not sure they ever had a clear vision of their goals. I don't think they do now either. It's a top heavy company with no clear direction that inflated their stock with acquisitions.
