I'm so sorry for those let go today. Undoubtedly, most who were laid off were the productive part of the workforce instead of the arrogant & nepotistic RFMD management structure.
If someone were to design a organization whose main objective was to entrench the good old boys club and drive away any technical talent that made the behind-the-times management feel that they weren't the smartest guy in every room ever, they couldn't do much better than copying how Qorvo operates.
I left Qorvo a year ago and by the end of my time there, I was thrilled to be out of there. For those who didn't get hit by the layoffs, be open to moving. The job market is hot and there are plenty of better managed companies to work for. Your quality of life will thank you big time!
