Unsure how many, but there are massive layoffs happening right now at Lenovo. Unfortunate for everyone affected. The PC business has been in trouble for some time, and after huge mistakes with IBM server business and Moto, have to cut somewhere. It's a shame that this company is no longer about the technology in the machines and is all about the selling. They continue to lose deals on price, because they will never be the price leader. This kind of engineering is expensive, and Lenovo should be promoting the product value, not the price. Big mistake on their part and now it is causing many people their jobs.

Lenovo has been in trouble for years. Execs have NO idea what they're doing. Inept management from CEO on down.
Lenovo continues to slowly circle the drain. It's been in trouble for years, with no end in sight. Executive team has no idea what's really happening and is trying to sell a vision that is fiction. Inept management from VP levels down.
"300 at DCG" and "4% of all US" don't seem to jibe. I'm guessing it must have been more than 4%.
No idea how many, but even sales teams we thought would be the last to go are gone.
Been a contractor with Lenovo for only a few months. Got notice today that 10/13 is my last day.
300 at DCG , Enterprise drive.
What locations?
Total count?
I will hit the social media outlets and kickstart this board if you give me this info.
The more detail I have the better...
Great post - on target...
Yep, we were just told we are losing a team member to this resource action. They are saying 4% of all US employees being let go.
