Time to go

First time being let go during my career... I have always been dedicated to my job, always wearing the company shirt.

This is a very sad moment folks, I am pretty sure everyone agrees on this.

Hope you don't go through this.

It is hard to imagine waking up in the morning and not having a job to drive to. I will miss my friends at Qorvo.

I don't think a lot of thought was put to decide who stays and who should go. People you know and your influences play the most and not what you know. It seems very unfair, not right at all...

There are still lots of incompetent supervisors and managers with no leadership or people skills around, while knowledgeable people, very good super-hard working people are gone.

Apopka is one of the hell place to work, if you let go from that site then don't worry, you will find way better job and people who appreciate you and your work.

Same thing happened to me last year, I am glad that I quit Qorvo, Apopka and join Skyworks.

What does that mean "we want the group to stay primarily in NC". That is their excuse, that makes no sense. What area are you from?

I was let go too. I was told "we want the group to stay primarily in NC". I'm more upset with the fact I've worked day and night, on my PTO, and holidays for that place. I've definitely learned going above and beyond means squat. Life lesson learned. Time too find a job where I make a real difference for someone, beyond the "bottom line".

Yes not much thought put into it, I don't think the managers had a say in it at all, or they did and played favorites. They were probably playing darts or corn hole with our names to see who they randomly let go. I am sorry that you are one of them they picked,, there is nothing me or anyone else can say to make it better for you..@@$%<;$$ qorvo
