Have survived layoffs at previous conglomerate employer and have to say this is the most chaotic down-sizing I've ever witnessed.
So far, I've seen no rhyme or reason; somewhat random at this point. Given the pathetic VSP offered, I suspect the involuntary RIF will be substantial.
Hopefully the strategic picture will unfold before the end of the week. Qorvo should have downsized months after the TriQuint acquisition...
The delay allowed organizations to silo and bloat which has more than negated the meager efforts at lean manufacturing. If we keep screwing around, the whole deal will be owned by the Chinese.
