Thread regarding GE Power layoffs

GE Management Team is Setting Up Schenectady to Fail

The Management Team is Setting up Schenectady To Fail!! How is Schenectady suppose to improve and become more lean? When Schenectady gets rid of experienced engineers, and management! Then replace them with college kids with no experience? Double the work load on college arrogant kids who ask the Shop how to do stuff? Schenectady is set up to Fail so they can ship the work overseas and blame the union. So that can be the excuse to create the jobs in France as part of the Alstom Deal!

GE six sigma fakers with little or no turbine experience have been screwing up GE Power since 1998 when they started getting rid of experts across the board and replacing them with inexperienced workers. This has affected all parts of the management and worker structure, especially very technical areas like engineering, manufacturing, and the turbine service business.

Cost structure from massive inefficiency of inexperienced, outsourcing to low quality vendors with massive transportations and logistics costs have drained GE Power of cash flow. GE Power has lousy reputation with customers because of poor execution, lots of rework and botched turbine work.

You can't replace experienced workers with fakers who just want to get promoted and make bad decision after bad decision to impress no nothing bosses just do so. This is why GE Power has been ruined - bloated cost structure vs lean and mean expert system like it used to be

Shouldn't this be past tense? "is setting up" vs "had set up".
