On what date do you have to be on payroll to be eligible for annual bonus payout? Is it mid of DEC or beginning of Jan?

It was the week b4 Christmas.
Not sure but last year (2016) the bonus was prorated to account for the percentage of the year that Avago (now Broadcom Limited) owned Broadcom classic. I forget the exact percentage but it was something like 75%.
So I would expect they do something similar if you started working at Broadcom mid-year. If you start work in Jun 2017 you probably are eligible for bonus but it would be prorated to 50% of the year.
It was mid of Dec last year.
