What is HPE india severence pay policy?

i work for HPE india. looks like i am in trouble now. i know that they utilize this opportunity to target whistle blowing employees.

still no worries as i am capable of getting job in other company. but, i am intrrested to know which Government regulation related to compensation applies here? what is the HPE India policy on severence pay for laidoff employees?

Also, i have heard that rather than issuing terminating letters they pressurize employees to Submit Resignations. is that true?

An year ago when around 120 people fired in Mahadevpura office, Bangalore (MCBS, 3PAR etc) the management gave 4 months’ time. After 4 months, the employee has to submit their resignation and serve 2 months’ notice period. I heard total compensation worked out for 6months to 9months pay. In case if anyone gets job with in that 4 months and resigns then no compensation was paid. Bit strange and tricky deal. But worked out well for many people.

HA. India is safe. You’ll get all the work from laid off AMS or EMEA employees. You know this.

The stock price was a direct result in lowered capex. From 23 to 13 was after both spin-mergers (whatever the h@ll that is).

Meg spoiled the company. Share price plunged from 23 USD to around 13 USD. unhealthy stock. not sure, why still board wants her to sit as CEO

Remember folks...these are HR experts you are dealing with. If they want to terminate you, they will and you have very little recourse.

I would pull them to court if any violation found in Entire process of Layoff. No objections to layoff. It should be ethical and with good severence pay.

HPE india HR are famous for not maintaining ethical standards in their business operations.

Suggestion to HPE india colleauges - Record your conversation with HR. dont put papers on pressure. instead, ask them to issue termination letter with reason.
