I have heard that we are cutting a lot of upper mgmt in the U.S tomorrow. does anyone know the exact numbers and regions for this. I wonder if sales reps will be caught in the latest round of never ending layoffs. are there any other areas being impacted?

"Does this 10% + layoffs for HPE include worldwide or just United States?" It is a little of both... a mathematical juggling act. 10% of the worldwide workforce headcount will be extracted from the US workforce.
Hello all,
Does this 10% + layoffs for HPE include worldwide or just United States?
Not sure the number of layoffs is accurate however what is sure is level 4 and 5 layoffs are coming next week.
nooooo. that deal is done, this is all about whats left of HPE today. we are already not even getting invited to tender by customers because of real concerns about future viability and the long term support of products in case we are not around in the 3-5 ywar timeframe.
Is this just what is left of HPE or is also the HPE Software-MicroFocus are part of the lay offs too? Meg is destroying HPE and it is terrible. I bet there will be emails of upper management celebrating their new promotions and how great the company will be now. Very Sad :-(
Goodbye some marketing VPs.
well the new global head of sales and head of indirect have been doing spin interviews to prep the market for the good news.. HPE wants back in the game!
Overtones of messaging :- we are going flat, we are going agile, nimble, and be first to fast with our 11 geo org structure and by christ its going to be good for everyone but our competition who are now physically quaking in their boots 'cos the Ninja Turtles are back in town
next part - announce a 10% WFR, but actually do 20% so all the lemmings don't mass suicide off the cliff all together, well the good ones that is, the bad ones always seem to want to stay for some reason....
hold a party in Palo Alto for another successful Mass Employee Crucifixion win sold to the s---ers as a new strategy con.
the org chart update was a classless way of not announcing these changes. morale is awful. how much longer can they treat employees this way. the old HP way seems to be long gone and something of folklore these days. Meg needs take an uber somewhere else.
Nothing surprises me at HPE anymore. Globally, morale is so low across the company, so much that one has to wonder how much better the reported financial performance would be if HPE just treated their people with a little dignity and respect. BTW, the Monday layoff rule no longer applies.

Can anyone provide details? My inbox is very empty on the topic.
Yup, it happened. Didn't see any pursuers of other opportunities though, they just announced the new org structure and left us to fill in the blanks for ourselves.
Only at Plano site so far?
Layoffs just happened at the Plano site today. You were right
Layoffs are always on Mondays.
This was expected was it not? I got this impression from the Las Vegas event.
it was around the layers of upper mgmt. I dont know if the actual sales force is in the cross hairs but supposedly there will be announcements tomorrow about multiple higher level managers "pursuing other opportunities"
What cuts? Tons of rumors, but really, it's just another day.
Do you know something that we do not?
