Kellogg’s was downgraded today. Stock went down 4%. So far in this quarter it looks like down 7% for sales. They where only talking about cereal. Everyone is going to get a big surprise with the snack side numbers. If the cereal side is down that much.

I an in Ohio also and was denied unemployment because Kelloggs did not allocate my severance for a specific date like the last day worked or the day it was payed out. Kelloggs marked it as retention pay on my pay stun for one week the second week after i was let go.
Ohio unemployment JFS say it makes no difference how it was marked or payed if Kelloggs wont assign a allocation date they can and did for a date in November effectively eliminating all but the very end of my unemployment benefits.
I have been trying for two weeks now to get Kelloggs to send the unemployment board a statement of a allowcation date on company letter head with contact info included, but to this point all they have been willing to do was fax over a copy of the same pay stub I have and unemployment says that is not sufficient.
Still trying to get some cooperation from Kelloggs on this, but if not i guess that my entire severance for sixteen years of service at the company was just a way for Ohio Unemployment to save money with a tricky play pf words.
In PA if severance under 20k you can start UC . If severance over 20k+ you have to wait until done....I believe.
For Ohio i stated on the day i signed up for unemployment, that i would be receiving X amount for severance, eventually.Woman at unemployment said it made no difference,if i no longer worked for kellogg,i was unemployed, and my unemployment started on the last day worked.
Anonomous just curious did you have to wait tell your severence was paid out to file for unemployment
I just filed for unemployment for the first time in my life this week. 25+ yrs in workforce.
Whatever loss in profits from reduction in sales will be more then made up in the $ saved from the elimination of DSD.
Store sections look horrible. But I guess that is the new normal.
At some point, people will realize we are in a recession, and there won't be a recovery this time.
