Thread regarding Becton Dickinson & Co. layoffs

Capitalism at its worst

Another corporate monster that works its employees to death, and then throws them out in the streets because they impact the bottom line and the corporate fat cats massive bonuses. Your game is so played out. The revolution has already started. The greed of the rich is out of control and the bottom has suffered long enough. The people at the top should be ashamed but they are not. All they care about is getting their share. You can only take so much from the people before the people rise up.

If America is doing so fine then why is wage inequality on the rise for 36 straight years?

Why is the middle class dying?

Why did America elect an incompetent, reality star as president? It's far from fine.

Oh I see, I must be a Marxist revolutionary because I believe corporate greed is evil and their employees are just a number to do their bidding for 15-20 years and then dispose of them like they mean nothing.

So they don't close entire plants and departments and outsource to India? If most people were making over six figures and had "reasonable" savings there wouldn't be post after post year after year about what a horrible bunch of bastards the management is.

The plant workers, and customer service, and product support people, research and development people, lab techs, associates are not making anywhere near six figures with reasonable savings. They are working paycheck to paycheck hoping for a little overtime and instead get handed a f---ing box.

Since we are assuming, I'm going to assume you are one of those people in a middle management position that everyone is hating constantly. How does it feel to be despised by everyone you know?

Now neatly fold that Brooks Brothers jacket and get in your bosses office. That d--k isn't going to s--- itself.

OK Che Guevara, now go back to your mountain top headquarters.

OP - Most people axed were professionals who will find a better gig within 6 months or less. Most of them had six figure paychecks with reasonable savings.

America is fine, please do not start a revolution here.
