I've been hearing from my manager that Walker and the crew now spend their weekly meetings reviewing all new hires. Is that possibly true? Seems such a waste of time (for those making millions a year, and losing APC billions a year). What leadership course teaches a CEO of several thousand people to not delegate hiring decisions? Can't be true.

Not quite right. EC is actually checking all employees for head lice. RAW is terrified he will catch it and have to shave "my beautiful mane." RAW personally oversees from the safety of an observation room with a glass barrier.
When you don't know how to do your job you go to the lowest level of management - headcount. The hr department is now staffed with morons. So the EC has to prop it up.
Fake news I’m afraid. The weekly EC meetings consist of one hour of Al’s direct reports massaging an ultra-rare mousse created from baby seal blubber in a Himalayan sweatshop high atop Everest into his thick, luscious hair. The other hour is spent complementing him on his gorgeous coiffure.
The C-470 bike path heading north from S Eldridge Street in Morrison is completely badass with several great switchbacks throughout the run. The path leads over a bridge that crosses US Hwy 285 then screams downhill with a series of turns until it connects with another path at the bottom. I rode this several years ago when I was with APC and had the chance to hit it again over the weekend. Super stoked to be riding again as I broke my ankle longboarding, but hell, life is short!
