Thread regarding Bombardier layoffs

Bombardier needs to look at its own practices, not Boeing's

Bombardier alleging bullying by Boeing. Bombardier should know better. Boeing was the bread and butter for Northern Ireland, unfortunately bombardiers arrogance has eroded and brought the aviation manufacturing industry here into disrepute. Boeing will not be bullied like most of bombardiers workforce. All the interventions by government now to late as the governments failed to see what was going on under there noses for years. Bombardier hate government and audits. When there is monetary support from governments though bombardier will gladly take it and give themselves pay rises. Most of the talk at the minute is NI's highly skilled workforce when they deem most of the people building the products as semi skilled, monkeys I remember them being called. Then employing agency workers, working with a dark cloud above their head depending on managements mood on the day. "Don't forget you are temporary". Who Is bullying who. Maybe Boeing are just protecting their workers and want to build products on a level playing field so that they can continue to do so without the fear of a downturn where they operate. Bombardier price dumping subsidized by governments is in my opinion unethical and not what you would expect in this industry. Time will tell.

I feel the United Kingdom should not be Interfering In a genuine commercial dispute, Nor drawing any inferences about Boeing's right to follow a legitimate process to investigate the how aircraft can enter service into the United States at such a low cost. Desperation on bombardiers part and achievable with the subsidies they have received. The corporate bloating here in the United kingdom is far from necessary. Boeing could employ thousands here In Northern Ireland "To Work" without the necessity for so many white collar parasites bloating the offices with only their own interests at heart. I think the United Kingdom should, although annoyed, should not offend a massive potential Investor for the future. Belfast workers can provide products but you don't need to pat any of the leadership team for that. Maybe just for sinking the ship and neglecting to lead it.

Too many corners cut, process control panels, process monitoring / archiving. raw material control.

Critical process functions, personnel qualified or not. Where are the audits. Just another few corrective actions to bluff over, job done. Where are the training records for semi skilled personnel carrying out critical processes. Nowhere. Not their fault though but will take the punitive actions from management and human resources when mistakes are made so the real root cause stays secret. Think its what AES "achieving excellent system" calls the hidden factory. Sooner Boeing or Airbus wipes this spruce goose the better. Safer for all concerned and those who dare board them. No ill will to the workers. Shorts could be Shorts again with the correct vision and honest direction of a respected aircraft manufacturing corporation, Boeing maybe or airbus. Both of which have supplied work to Northern Ireland. With some companies only working with "shorts" and will not accept bombardier paperwork. wonder why. Too much brainwashing. Take over the aircraft market no matter what. If that fails hire 5 more directors and fill in a "pss" problem solving sheet. No need to keep previous months sheets as the current sheet "one sheet plenty" will surpass all expectations as long as the line is headed in a north easterly direction or has a green bingo type highlighter dabbed on aforementioned problem solving sheet. Where did it all go wrong when the achieving excellence system results rolled "up the flagpole" "right to the upper peerage" "every day of every month of every year, excluding holidays" and still flopped. Someone must be telling porkies.
