How many of you really believe remote workers will not be let go at the end of this quarter? How many of your managers are having daily secret meetings as far away from the staff as possible? How many of you have been left with little or nothing to do to contribute to projects? I hate to burst your bubble but "secret meetings" are probably just an excuse to hide from people when they don't know any more than you do. Since January there's a whole lot more bureaucracy and red tape, new levels of management inserted. I hate to break it to you, but the people you might have thought were empowered to make decisions are not. All decisions require multiple high-level written approvals with ridiculous numbers of people sitting on the phone for hours. If anything was a waste of company resources and money, it is the heavy centralization of all decision-making. If you are not a direct report to the CEO, you are just a data generator.
