I heard the target is <10% but we will never know the real number.
If you read the other threads, there appears to be people getting layed off/fired already. This happened last time too - staggering the cuts to stay under the radar.

None of our teammates are doing any work, every body has heard the rumors about layoffs.
Its so hard to focus and work, also look for jobs.
I have been interviewing, I hope I can an offer soon and leave the company.
The morale is really bad at work.
Do managers expect us to keep working normally in this period?
I am slipping my dates for about 2 weeks, is that ok?
FWIW - Some threads were suggesting numbers of layoffs, I have not heard any percentages. However, I have confirmation of one manager (east coast) who has 8 direct reports and was asked for 3 names for layoffs. Sad.
PS : Professional Services
It's just the tip of the ice berg.
Looks like counting on Contrail and NFX success in AT&T's Flexware disaster is not going to help either - can't catch a break. Appears everything Juniper touches, turns to sh--, or some epic failure. Just goes to show the widening gap between marketing hype and the reality of crappy productse or bad technology gambles, does not equate to success. Time for a new CMO and fresh marketing strategy.
What is PS?
Lousy management at Juniper is known to place productive employees on bogus performance improvement plans (PIPs) so they can push them out - without paying severance packages or bonuses. This type of short sighted activity helps these calculating managers build up their fiefdoms filled with friends and people they know, however it is more likely to build ineffective toxic work environment plagued with incompetence. I won't be surprised if the aforementioned Directors in PS were pushed out this way - however, not knowing who these individuals are, or what they did (or didn't do), it is hard to say if these are good or bad decisions for Juniper.
Needless to say, there are many fundamental HR issues engraved in Juniper's culture, which has led to difficulty in attracting good talent. Most joining Juniper in recent times are not the cream of the crop, and retaining top talent has been challenging for Juniper as well.
Building a productive and respectful work force is more an art than a science, and the executive leadership at Juniper just doesnt seem to understand that. They need to shut (the f---) up, stop the b---s---ting, and let their actions do the talking. I am tired of hearing the (condescendingly slow) speeches from Rami and all his sidekicks talking about how good things are, and how well we are doing. Let's face the music and fire the worthless crackheads who just spin their wheels and stifle progress. Start by firing the b---s---ters - all the VP's, Directors, Managers who s--- up the oxygen and deliver nothing. The ones that have mislead this company into spending money because they think they know the industries we serve. Here's a tip... loud doesn't mean they are smart. It is easy to identify the crackpots. If Rami wants to make it, he will start by re-building a brand new c-suite.
Not sure if this is related to the rumored big layoff - but I have confirmation of at least two directors in PS being laid off this past Friday.
