Chemical bank will have layoffs and about 20 branches will close. About 200 branches will stay open. If you work in one of the branches, you will be affected. I am not sure what the plan is for the corporate office, I used to work in a branch and I've left on my own in 2016.
I just hope things will stabilize but as more people are doing banking online, you can expect both Chemical Bank and other banks to have more and more layoffs.
Just look at &wells-fargo-and and other banks - it's bad...
