Thread regarding Altice USA (Cablevision) layoffs

Awful

Everything you read in the news about Altice is true. Hard to believe, but true. Legitimately an awful place to work.

Yep, its really bad, employees are extremely stressed and over worked, most are just trying to make it

to the next day without quitting. Others around me are actively searching new jobs while on the job and others you could not pay extra to keep them. The company talks about keeping ethics and standards high, but Altice themselves have none. They by far are the most unethical company I have worked for.

I know someone who works there it's terrible . Poor training forced to take calls in areas not trained in and poor help from leadership . They feel as if they are drowining . They mention the Q is constantly over 100 all day . They can barely support their current staffing . This company is going down the drain .

Also something called a pool is always close so tech apts are long time away and they are forced to hear the customer cuss then out.

Sinking ship if u ask me

Head of French telecoms arm SFR to leave job

REUTERS - 09/11/2017

PARIS, Sept 11 (Reuters) - SFR Chief Executive Michel Paulin will leave his job for "personal reasons", the French telecoms company said on Monday.

SFR, which is part of the Altice telecoms and cable group founded by French billionaire Patrick Drahi, said in a statement that the position would be overseen in the meantime by current Altice CEO Michel Combes.

SFR, France's second-biggest operator, has lost more than 1.6 million mobile customers and 500,000 fixed broadband customers since Drahi took control of the company three years ago, hampered by a late ramping up of crucial investments in its networks.

In July, Altice reported a surge in its second-quarter group operating profits that managed to offset lower earnings at the SFR division. (Reporting by Gwenaelle Barzic; Writing by Matthias Blamont; Editing by Sudip Kar-Gupta)

You might want to look up amdocs and AT&T. Destroyed the workers there and now they just struck a deal. Profits first and last forget everything else.
