Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

10 year past and Intel still looking as the iPhone blows them away

It's 10 years boys and the 🤡 Hasn't come close to recovering the company for his predecessors biggest mistake nor learn any lessons.

Most influential and important device and Intel has but a few dollars sold at a lost it.

" we ended up not winning it or passing on it or passing on it, depending on your view of it. The world would be a lot different if we done it"

You ain't kidding and I. 10 years billions and billions maybe like 30 billion wasted.

Watch TSMC and Samsung pass Intel by this years, more great ACTs from the clown a coming if he is t removed next year

It is amazing how the BoD and senior executives who rose to riches on x86 were and are still so stupid and arrogant to not see the competitive threat from the ARMy and how ignoring it has enabling the duopoly of Samsung/TSMC to eclipse Intel leadership and industry relevancy for the next decade, truely a HBR case study of the 🤡

The AG decision to move to sole source is what destroyed x86. Competition keeps you strong; monopoly makes you weak.

@yrr

You have a serious lack of imagination.

PSO was also offered to fab the designs from Apple. By letting TSMC and Samsung do it, Intel ceded their fab supremacy in the long run.

Now Intel is seriously fvcked when TSMC offers a better process to all of Intel's competitors. Intel should be sh!ting bricks over AMD using TSMC 7nm to beat Xeon and client CPUs.

This is all thanks to PSO missing the iPhone.

Denial is so funny to see,

X86 will win because of installed user base of software, sorry the most ubiquitous compute platform is the ARMy.

Volume allows plowing R&D back into capital intensive silicon, oops x86 lost to ARMy.

Intel ahead on process by three years, oops past buy this year by Samsung and TSMC

ARMy is assisting and winning in every market. Subsidies from servers to other x86 will evaporate in the next couple years as process leadership is gone and designs languish waiting for 10nm and 7nm.

Believe what you want the ACT is over!

Still a legend that was created long after the fact. Intel was never offered anything related to the iPhone, because Intel didn't have any chips that would have matched what Apple expected for the iPhone. Try turning on your brain sometime before reposting the same bullcrap for the millionth time.
