Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Drain the Intel Swamp!

This round of layoffs needs to be a manager and above drain the swamp type cut. Time to clean out the slow dead weight from above that are behind the times when it comes to technology. Time for fresh blood, fresh and new ideas, to get us back on track. These old guys lead by fear and intimidation instead of being competent. Time to say...Your Fired!

The incompetence at the top is so bad, can't expect any rational strategy even with something as simple as layoff, the ACT was all the proof one needed at the incompetence at the top.

I think the best way to do a next round of layoff is like what was done for the SET initiatives around 2008. At least there was some kind of analysis done about what projects and departments to let go and what kind of job roles to trim.

ACT was just about trimming the payroll in a random way that could avoid law suits.

Won't happen. When it came to employee incompetence, choice was to fire them. When it came to manager incompetence, choice was to train them. Turkey's don't vote for Christmas!!!
