Lawsuit - WARN Act Violation by Tesla

Lawsuit in progress: "....That includes Abraham Duarte. In a six-page complaint filed in Alameda County Superior Court on Tuesday, Duarte says he and “other similarly situated employees” were dismissed by Tesla as part of a layoff ordered by the automaker. The suit claims Tesla “acted intentionally and with deliberate indifference” to the employees by failing to provide proper note of the mass terminations under California’s WARN Act."

IBM has been doing this for years. They've laid off thousands of employees every year, bypassing the WARN act, over the past decade. The law is useless.

It's a losing battle... the "WARN Act" only exists to make the "little people" feel hopeful... no court-of-law can determine the business need to layoff people... which boils down to costs... and there's no winning against that argument.
