Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

is HPE Postponing Expenditure to show better results in Q4?

Normal industry standard is to prepone Q1 expenditure to Q4.

However, looks like HPE is doing reversal. It is postponing all unavoidable expenditures to Q1 just to show better results in Q4?

If above is true, Q1 results would be extremely impacted with lot of costs and another round of layoffs to show reduced costs and increase share price (which will again be temporary in nature)

My manager told me point blank that the expense controls and expense deferments were specifically for the books to look "good" (heh heh) for Meg's departure... Another VP I spoke with said he's expecting layoffs to happen through the entire FY18.
