Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

So, it's over for me...

It's over for me. The call was super short, maybe 10 min, 15 tops. The VP was terse and brisk, it was scripted, he did not want to be involved - it was easy to tell. The HR robots continued, super dry, scripted again, removed from any compassion or emotions. The HR harped about the 'business need' whatever that had to mean - I simply did not have energy to go back and forth with them about anything, yet there is much I should have said.

To all of you still in the trenches, good luck and all the best. For the rest of the folk who got axed, keep your head high and do not stress out - the market is good, I've got my first ping from a recruiter today - they know we are cutting.

Yes, I also feel that the original poster could be from Welford. If it's the person I think k it is then I should state I was shattered to have learnt of his fate. One of the last decent person and over-achiever is gone from Juniper. The scavengers are taking over.

I'm proud of the Original poster here - I have a feeling it's from Westford. We, the good people who got laid off, didn't deserve this.

I don't know who to blame for making me feel like I've been ripped off.

The market is on its last legs. Layoffs happening everywhere will soon overwhelm the job market. Doubt this?

Spend some time reading "Latest Posts" for proof.

No, it's not just Juniper where layoffs are going on, not by a long shot.
