Thread regarding ADP layoffs

Homeshored workers

To all the people who were offered a chance to work from home after their office closed you can be assured that your position is only temporary and you will eventually be laid off like the rest of the employees who already have lost their jobs.

There is no way this company is going to allow people to work from home on a permanent basis their goal is to have everyone working at one of the new locations at a lower cost and they want everybody inside the buildings to watch over them they no longer want people to work from home .

Homeshored is a temporary solution for the company until they have enough new workers trained at the new locations. Not to mention the majority of people who work from home do not receive a severance package. They have a manager call you up at home with a HR person also on the call and let you know you are not being productive enough and let you go.

Firing people who work from home is easier because it's not noticed as much compared to working in the office. Anything for the company to cut cost.

But all homeshored employees ARE going to be let go, either laid off with a severance package or fired for "not being productive enough." This is neither an irresponsible or uninformed statement. If you had read all the posts you would have seen that ADP no longer wants its employees working from home. In addition, all veteran employees still working at ADP making decent salaries, whether working from home or not, are going to be let go because "they are earning too much money." Insiders at ADP also agree with this information. Please do your research first and then comment responsibly.

"Maybe if you delivered value in your job you wouldn't be laid off."

What an irresponsible statement which unjustly condemns everyone here who dares to speak out about being laid off. Perhaps you need to reread the rationale from the posts here behind why people are being laid off, if you even read them to begin with. They are not being laid off because they are incompetent or that "they don't deliver value". They are being laid off because ADP s current management team feels that THEY ARE MAKING TOO MUCH MONEY. The management team just wants to save some labor costs by replacing competent and established employees with low cost workers. That is not illegal or unethical. But please don't place the blame on the employees who are being laid off.

Now let that sink in instead of making a blanket statement about ALL the laid off employees. There is no need for anger or resentment. Just feeling that anyone that gets laid off at ADP is automatically an incompetent does not make your statement true. Please go do some research before making inaccurate statements that offends people.

This is not "going on everywhere". That is completely absurd. Trying to cover for ADPs unwise actions with a fig leaf won't hide the truth.

The gravy train at all companies ends in 2017. Not just ADP, it's going on everywhere.
