EIS and Allscripts seem to be perfect for each other. Both companies celebrate clueless management, disappointing products, H1B/Outsourcing abuse and constant layoffs.
Two sh--ty tastes, better together!

When you hear EIS just think the new McKesson employees. They've been through no less than 3 layoffs a year for 3 years now, so we're a little sensitive to the topic. By all signs thus far All Scripts seems to be more of the same.
what is EIS?
I actually wonder how long the EIS folks that transferred over to Allscripts will last, before the nasty top fires them (which is exactly what a lay off is, RIF, or right sizing - really? right sizing?). Disgusting that management cannot call it for what it is. Run for the hills folks! Do not trust the top!
