Severance packages don't last as long as you might think. It is just a bridge until your next job. It is taxed heavily and you end up with a lot less than the initial number you think you are getting. Unemployment probably won't pay your monthly bills. Start looking for something else now. It takes a while to find something you want. There are a lot of cool jobs out there, but you have to be persistent
