Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

Glassdoor

Has anyone else noticed (filter by date to get recent posts) the unfavorable reviews being deleted? What's up with that? Particularly the ones addressing inappropriateness by execs.

Glassdoor is in bed with employers - they make money by selling access to stats on company pages, ability to respond, manage the visitor, etc. Blind is sh--.

CEO is naive and is taken for a ride by engineering. At least Johnnathan could talk.

The jack**s running the engineering show and his lackeys drove the security/SRX business to the ground. None of them could design their way out of a paper bag. They are now well on their way to doing the same number on the entire co. What's new ?

Hang in there, @PPW0jiF-3lmz, and anyone else worried about next week.

If you think you are going to be affected by the layoff, worrying does not help. Instead:

  • prepare yourself by updating your resume, linkedin and contact lists

  • get started on your job search, if you have not started already (look here for best sites... https://www.thebalance.com/top-best-job-websites-2064080 )

  • get in touch with your contacts in other companies and let them know you are looking

In short, get a head start.

Last but not least, don’t think about the past, look to the future, and plan how you can do great(er) things someplace else. If you feel you have to stick it to someone, the best revenge is your success.

All the best to you.

How about the multiple positions maintained after (overpriced) acquisitions, spin-ins and buying companies with friends and relatives of Predeep? It will repeat when fungible gets spun-in too, but thats another story all unto itself. These acquisitions are orchestrated poorly, and dual/triple positions are maintained for years, with meaningless integration. Hoping this re-org will integrate cyphort, contrail and BTI systems to get rid of the duplicate/triplicate positions. This is part of the reason why DEs with no real “D” are around. We couldn’t fire the founders friends and relatives, but now that Pradeep is busy having Fun(gible), Rami might clean house. Will see.

@PPW0jiF-3hii Yup, especially those who came up with their own projects to reinvent wheels, which benefits nothing other than their ego. But sadly they are not gonna go this time cz their nepotism roots too deeply into Juniper's management hierarchy. After all, that is the reason they could force their ego projects on engineers in the first place.

Any word if the corrupt DEs will be axed? Those who run gangs and plagiarize seems like good candidates to cleanse. The officialdom protecting them better know the puke they are swimming in will drown them first.

I hear many hard working originals are on the list. Will the pukes who sold their work also be gone now?

That is probably the common practice these days. Lots of other companies get same complain about removing unfavorable posts. However, here we are on a site called thelayoff.com. How about we leave the whining to Blind and stay focused on speculating what is rumored to happen next week?
