Anybody else thinks that Kmart will be going the way of the dinosaurs much sooner than we thought? The way they are going with the closings, soon there'll be nothing left to close...

It's all about the real estate under the stores. If a highly profitable kmart sits under a good location it's a days are numbered. Doesn't matter that it's making the company money profitable etc. If eddie can make more money on the real estate verses sales it's done for that store
I can almost guarantee it. If they are willing to close the St. Clair Shores location, which is their #1 by the way, then all of us are not safe at all. I work at one of the top Kmarts as well but I sure as hell don't feel that matters anymore. I felt it didn't matter even before this but now I feel justified in my fears of getting shut down in the near future.
