IBM Reports 22nd Consecutive Quarter Of Declining Sales, "Beats" EPS On Drop In Effective Tax Rate

"How did IBM 'beat' again? By once again applying a lower tax rate than a year ago: a paltry 11.0%, down from the already laughable 12.5% in Sept 30, 2016. Had IBM used even last quarter's 12.5% tax rate, it would have missed."

Lower tax rates will go directly into the leaderships pockets. No jobs will be created and no trickledown will be felt. Anyone who thinks differently is a stone cold retard.

So IBM and other corporations are lobbying Trump to lower corporate taxes to a 20% effective rate. With this lower rate, corporations are expected to create thousands of US jobs.

And now along comes IBM paying 13% while moving US jobs to India.

No evidence that lower corporate rates will create jobs.
