Thread regarding State Street Corp. layoffs

Cog

Minion

Commodity

Replaceable

Expendable

One in 7 billion

Just a number

Get the picture?

Anything that can be done lawfully to make you want to quit, it will be done.

I said be prepared for dark roads, you have no idea how dark the days are going to get.

These will be the good old days, and yup, just be grateful you have a job.

You and I are thinking of the glory days when getting a job at State Street meant you were set for life.

A nice long 25,30,35 year run there.

Now the only way you survive is if your a pet aka bootlicker of a very high level executive.

I too work 55 hours a week , saturdays and had the State Stree cell phone attached to me 7 by 24

After 25 years I was discarded like an old car and replaced by the new Indian IT model for 1/4 to 1/3 the cost of my salary

Where’d that last post go from the OP about jokers ? That’s weird to delete that one seemed innocuous enough

One world order

One world government

Been happening since the 1980’s

We are just feeling it more because the way of life we grew up on is being snuffed out for good!

It’s an economy that works if you have at least hundreds of millions of dollars, if not get in line for food, water, gas, healthcare, education, careers.

Our freedoms have been lost, we are all going into a communist type government and it’s not going to end well for the USA worker.

I live in Massachusetts and have worked for State Street for many years. I have survived by working seven days a week for almost my entire career. At some point I won't be able to work seven days any longer since my overall health is failing. It certainly wasn't the same economy at the beginning of my career and most skilled well educated workers didn't have such a pessimistic outlook. Something has to be changed and these large corporations need to be penalized for sending all of these positions to other countries.

It’s so strange the complete disconnect st state street and the jobless claims and stock market. Consumer confidence at an all time high, and yet we hold onto the impending doom of massive layoffs.

It would be so nice for once to get a raise that actually amounted to something, that notched you up another level instead of making ends just meet. I would like to have a buffer just a little buffer to allow for bills to be paid and save for future and save for emergencies. To know that lay offs are still on the table just makes it more difficult.
