I know about yesterday's layoffs at HPE, but I'm not sure if they are still taking place. Haven't heard from my wife the whole day, and now I am starting to get worried. Hopefully I am just being paranoid and it's just a busy day after a big round of layoffs, but it'd be nice to get a confirmation. Any info would be appreciated.

Only 2 in Ft. Collins announced last Monday, Oct 16. It could have been more if 2 others on the same section did not quit last month.

The Delivery teams got hit as well as sales support and inside sales

Most of the the time HPE folks are with their girlfriends or other's wives. Understandable. The other way around for women.
Surely she is spending some more time with her boss for a bonus or promotion, so dont worry.
Once you finish whatever with the girl/boy you are with, go back home (at least by tomorrow) and surely you will hear a lot from your so called wife.

co-worker notified last FRIDAY so the always on Monday doesn't seem to necessarily be the case. also know some folks are being given 'advanced' notice before 2 week clock starts...

Layoffs are always on a Monday, often the Monday a few weeks before the end of a quarter. So congrats: She survived and now gets to do more work for same pay and worry daily about the next round. Have fun.
