Just focus on work, focus on work, work, workl, add value and make your best effort, knock it out of the park… I know that people are concerned but there is pretty much nothing major you can do about it - yes, I did hear about layoffs in Roseland.

Sad to hear this. Not sure if you all know but Paychex is experiencing growth and will be hiring new and seasoned sales reps nationwide. No layoffs there!
March 8th, 2018 - more layoffs. Many veteran Associates were told today, they will be laid off on August 31st. From the side chats, it seems half or more have more 15 to 20 years experience.
Years ago the idea was "off shore" to save costs.
Now the idea is "mega center" with fresh new people.
What Clients will get is Support by people with months of training and experience, not people with years. Oh, people laid off can not transfer... they can move to the mega-center States and walk in off the street and apply for a job. Next to a college kid who can be paid much less to start.
ADP will save money, the numbers will look good, because they will not be paying retirements to people who were loyal to the Company for 20 25 30 years. They will not be paying 3 or 4 or 5 weeks of PTO or wages to a seasoned support person. Instead they will be paying a new kid one year Vac, starting wages in a lower pay scale.
Clients will complain about more bad answers or delays to get issues fixed.
The bottom line will go up and look good on the books.
And people who were loyal will be out on the street looking for a new job.
That is how ADP Management does things today.
This is NOT My ADP, leadership has gone down the tubes since Josh Weston Retired. The leadership since has no clue about the business they are in, the CTO has an Associates in Computer Science and a BA in Marketing as an example, he wants to do away with the Mainframe! So they push everyone to Mobile and do ZIP to the infrastructure to support the large number of API calls made by the UI's being used today. They are more concerned with pretty UI's that don't fully function to meet a date! And send out a patch days after what was recently deployed to fix the Bugs because a decision maker felt was okay to install with the know risks just to meet a date! Why can't it be done right the 1st time? Very cavalier leadership style that has little or no regard for non-management associates, or the paying customers. They need another OEI, they have gotten WAY TO FAT on the Management Side of the Business...
Why work hard at ADP when you are going to be laid off or fired for "not being productive enough" no matter how hard you work? ADP employees should save their energies and concentrate on finding new employment, where their work will be appreciated and where they can build solid careers with stable and more ethical companies.
