Oh, job cuts… Every year I hear the same story but layoffs never happen here in Palo Alto.

I thnk it's very unlikely.
Tesla will bounce back after the banks clean up the shares at a major discount (everyone is selling right now) - good luck all!!!
Why not both? The company is in a dire situation, so low performers got kicked out. Simple.
If you believe that these terminations were because of subpar performance or if you believe this company is not in a dire situation I have some waterfront property in AZ to sell you
@1txz - wife works there - she's telling me that MOST folks were low performers, but some good folks got the axe...
Nah, it was pretty much across the board. And at least among the people I know, it hasn‘t hit a single wrong person. Tesla has built up a LOT of fat over the last years, and now some of that is being cut.
Based on the news, it looks like IT/SW and Engg folks were let go?
I assumed there were a lot of SW folks in Palo Alto ...
