I left a few years back but still have good friend over there - now I am hearing that you may have job cuts in Plan-Les-Ouates.

ST doesn't layoff in europe and this is why most of its staff in europe are not proactive and driven and this is why the company will collapse in the next few years. In other regions, there are not many employees or at least i can say they did not over-hire since 2008. All is left in other regions are sales and marketing who bring money to the company so that europeans can enjoy their life
I don't think so they will layoff from Europe !!
They still have chaps in US, China and India sites to layoff :)
