Thread regarding ADP layoffs

Layoffs, Layoffs, and More Layoffs at ADP

With the continual layoffs going on at ADP, why should established and experienced ADP workers continue to work hard when they are going to be booted out no matter how hard they work? It would be better to concentrate on finding a job somewhere else, where peoples' efforts are appreciated and where there is far less chance of being laid off or fired for making too much money.

Good. Glad you left that hot mess behind. I hope many others bail out too. The payroll, time and hr/benefits inbound jobs are not scripted jobs and client requests vary call-by-call. Mgmt just doesnt seem to understand that. But I guess they will see the light when the company eventually tanks!

I was a 'new' hire. I quit after several months. Having worked at many companies...ADP immediate mgmt is wonderful... and benefits are excellent, however...the level of material one was having to learn far exceeds the typical training experience...brain absorption can only digest so much at a time. There are employees working 10-12 hour days...not because more work, but because new hires dont know what they are doing and get way way behind. Many are discussing their stress is beyond tolerable and thinking about leaving...Because new hires outnumber seasoned, there is just not enough support to meet demand. Typically level 2 is taught over two trainings about 12-19 months into the job on the floor...but they rushed it when switching to a dedicated rep model....people were doing 5 week training in 2 weeks with 9,10 hour virtual training days. Then it got sooo busy, they started asking people to do 40-50 hours additional to their standard 40-50 hour week in ot. That is 60-75 hours a week if needing it done by year end quarter. I was very excited about coming to ADP and soon became very disappointed...people just dont do a great job for their client base if they lack knowledge, experience and are stressed and exhausted. It was a train wreck when I left.

I am sure the replacements (for those they are replacing in the next layoff round) at the new location cannot even begin to be able to take on the work load and knowledge needed to get things done. Good luck is all I can say..lets see how THAT works out for ADP!!

Fake news? Where is your proof of that? Are you a conspiracy theorist? Or do you just have your head buried in the sand and refuse to accept what people have posted on this site.

There are many people who have commented here about the ADP inept and massive layoffs as well as lousy working conditions. Their observations are accurate and line up with the truth. Simply claiming this is fake news doesn't cut it.

Yes, the statements made above are correct. ADP is having the experienced, dedicated employees training new people then letting the experienced ones go. So very sad! The knowledgeable employees that have given their all for many years being tossed aside while new people hired that aren't sticking around and dedication to give the excellent service ADP is known for.

Laid off workers being called back? I'm sure that is just a temporary measure to get the new employees up to speed, then out the door they will go again!

Besides, good luck getting them back. Most have moved on to more decent companies, ones who value their work more.

I heard they are calling up some laid off workers in Some states because they are short staffed because a lot of new hires are quitting.
