Conduent severance was changed to a max of 4 weeks from 8 weeks on 9/1.
If you are laid off, make sure to check with your locality and a lawyer before you sign away your legal rights.
Certain localities afford you rights and benefits in addition to company benefits. (I notice that one state mandates one week of pay for each year of service in spite of Conduent's limit of 8 weeks.)
