Can someone share ANY info including rumors you may have, any bit of info, please, especially about layoffs in Atlanta.

No, they treat contractors terribly, won't even let you go to safety meetings....it is constantly "oh, you are a contractor--not sure if YOU can go,..." won't even let you volunteer with the Georgia Power volunteer groups. Discrimination is rampant, and the biggest game is who can work the least, managers never around, and so little knowledge when they are...but everyone is very polite in their e-mails, while they stab you in the back, stay away! Tons of better companies, just not the fancy name of "Georgia Power" who will be nice to you, plus rare to ever get hired unless you have 5 or 10 years to wait around....move on...no wonder the light bill is so expensive!
Trying to figure out if it's worth accepting a contracting job at this company.
