I wanted to ask you all present here - if you heard about any possible layoffs in Abbott Park.

Layoffs today, supposedly worldwide, at Abbott Laboratories (ABT). This one is a head scratcher due to the timing - the same day that Miles White's friend Donald Trump will be delivering his first State of the Union address, where he will surely tout how his tax cut has saved jobs and expanded employment. Miles is typically more shrewd with his layoffs....
Some are leaving on their own due to stress issues.
Abbott's employee ranks have grown by 33% over the last several months due to the
acquisitions of St. Jude Medical and Alere. It would only make sense to eliminate any redundant
positions wherever they are.
