This blog is pure BS! No serious information shared. Everyone says a different date... until some day it becomes true. I even imagine people from Sabre’s competitors writing and laughing out loud about us coming to check the ‘news’ as if we really desired it to happen, just ‘to be right’. I feel really sorry for us :(

Time to pay the piper, people. Expect a massive blood letting between Thanksgiving and Christmas. They are planning to go under the radar since so many other companies are shedding before Christmas and try avoid even more bad press.
Won’t be as extensive as the past but Airline Solutions will take biggest hit.
I don't think Project Oak was finished in August and it is still continuing. Either way, look for something before the Nov 2 earnings call.
I am betting something happens right before the earnings call in Nov.
I do not think anyone comes here to hear 'news' - we come here to speculate - we make semi-informed conclusions based on rumors/speculation - there is nothing wrong about this, each of us does it many times every day...

Project oak was a reference to the mid-year layoffs. Heard people saying - xyz got oaked.
So why would they use the same name again? Seems like an effort to instill fear n confusion in people's minds.
You have been told the project name, oak, you have been told the date Oct 30 (Monday), Oct 31 (last day of month), Nov 1 (day before earnings call). What more proof do yiu need.
