Meijer has not been a family company for years. Back in 2001 & 2003, hundreds of workers from the corporate office, including many ITS, were let go. The Walmart Supercenter onslaught never happened and outside contracting for some functions didn't happen for years. Just greedy executives. Thankfully, the Acme mess wiped out that clueless CIO. Wonder what will take this one down?

More layoffs on Friday. It was more than IT staff. Some were asked to leave. Some are getting a severance package if they stay for 30 days as long as they agree to certain terms.

Meijer has become a Joke company to work for . Capgemini and Indian companies are laughing at Meijer corporate . Top level guy taking millions from these companies . There is no recession , no losses , no sales down ,company in solid balance sheet , no debt ..then cuttings 50 % employee of the company ..seriously .. why can’t people file petition to President . He is screwing American families and getting Indian people for cheap labor . Taking millions in pocket .. what a shame !! And he is called a leader of company ..Shame on this kind of Leader
