No, they will not. As @aeb said, the only piece of data they disclose is the employment period, so you are good here.
If they talk/disclose they are legally liable for what they say. Therefore it's much wiser to keep quiet as they gain nothing from the info exchange. On the employment period side, they cannot mess up this as they can accurately provide the dates.
