Will Citrix cancel H1B and green card processing immediately after layoff or will they give some notice?

I think it depends on your location. They will have to cancel. In CA you will still be on payroll for two more months. You will probably have 2 weeks - 2 more month on top of that. So should be plenty of time to find a place to transfer to.
