What's let of the Detroit Hub? Predix is a failure and William Ruh's smoke and mirrors won't be able to support that failing team. Eventually , GE will wise up. The cloud team can be moved anywhere. Brilliant Factory is gone. With the new horizontal org I expect the herd to be thinned out with an emphasis on removing older, white, high salary folks. We shall see.
It is not closing. In fact they are now hiring up to 150 in 2018. I understand some of contractors may have to apply for full time positions and all might not make the cut. Rumors like that are just petty.
