don't you guys see it, Indians are the most racist people around. if one becomes head of a department, then she/he would only hire indians. talking about diversity in the tech company, it doesn't apply to indians.

the thing that puzzles me is that given so many Indian CEOs/directors/managers here in US, why India as a country itself can't have any homegrown word class companies. If you just look at Asian countries, Korea spent a few years now they have Samsung/LG/Hundai, etc, Japan has Toyota/Honda/Toshiba, etc, Taiwan has TSMC/UMC. Even China, which has been an underdog for many years, started at similar tech level with India, now has Huawei/Alibaba, etc. I don't believe all the smart Indians have been drained to US/EU.
Other thing observed here in BRCM is, generally when an Indian engineer becomes manager, he/she would surround him/her with 90% new hires of Indians. White and other races will get extremely hard to be hired.
My ex Indian manager has been sharp and fair, current Indian manager has been always talking but knows nothing about technical detail. Guess this is not just for Broadcom but for all US companies.
@PAVaTFN-1tpi funny how the people from India also say the same thing about non Indian coworkers. I wonder why Hock Tan is moving more resources to India progressively LOL LOL because they getting something done at much cheaper costs instead of just sending emails talking the whole day and wasting time in stupid meetings
LOL LOL LOL Jealos much
My experience (and also experience of many of my co-workers in broadcom)
There are couple of good engineers in India, but they are a very small-percentage of total IDC broadcom engineers.
But sad reality is the rest of team (90%+) lacks basic training/skills and hide instead of fix problems to meet deadlines. And quality is horrible most of time. I end up spending more time debugging/fix the issues introduced by the IDC team. It might take me overall much less time to do it myself...
Cheap H1Bs are the norm at Broadcom, so don't be surprised if quality/innovation s---s.
I think it is the opposite H1Bs are doing the grunt work for you to sit and enjoy your FAT RSUs for just being white or if your are chinese for you to have some colleagues to actually have some work get done instea dof sending bulk group emails talking about silly issues
