CB&I HR is a joke. It is all politics, they could care less about the employees. HR is the most sadistic group in any company.
Never give to united way its a rip off most the money goes to administration not the charity you select!!
Well maybe HR will be able to answer as "they clearly are doing more then just booking conference rooms to process layoffs". Although this is the most anyone has seen HR actually doing something! Unfortunately, it is to disrupt people's careers and ruin their lives but at least they are safe! Thank goodness!

Why was nothing ever done in accounting? Anytime you ever needed to find numbers for anything it was impossible to get. The system or systems they used were so messed up no wonder they could never get a cost estimate right. The whole finance and accounting group need to be cut and audited.
I want to know too so I can boost my UW pledge enough to make up for the personnel cuts. I want to boost the careers and community standing of more middle management toadies. Then watch them take the lead in layoffs next round as a great big thank you.
