too bad. such a wonderful company and large part of KC job force years ago.. Hate to see the company get this reputation with layoffs becoming routine year after year. Obviously poor market adjustments and planning by the senior leaderships.

Layoff the senior management. its not the associates who should be laid off. Senior management is sleeping without bringing the business. Waste of having senior management.

DST Health Solutions is run by idiots - no vision, no sales, no plan. Half the problem is that Birmingham is where the brain trust is and they are clueless. Implementations are horrible, client retention is a joke. May of 2015 they got a hair brain scheme to align the division like a health plan. They hired 340 people. They had a manager, supervisor and team lead for every client even if the only had to associates. Hello, they went from famine to feast, no they have too many people. You think? I'm not disgruntled, I like my job. I'm just concerned about the next cut...

WORST SENIOR MANAGEMENT IN KANSAS CITY AT A LARGE COMPANY. TWO YEARS AGO, SURVEY WAS TAKEN BY EMPLOYEE’S, UPPER MANAGENT GOT A 20 PERCENT APPROVAL RATING. THAT IS ONLY BECAUSE 20 PERCENT OF THE COMPANY IS UPPER MANAGEMENT AND FOR THE MOST PART VICE PRESIDENTS. THE COMPANY SEEMS AS IF THEY HIRE ANOTHER VICE PRESIDENT WEEKLY. THE AVERAGE APPROVAL RATING IN KANSAS CITY FOR UPPER MANAGEMENT AT LARGE COMPANY IS 60 PERCENT. PRESIDENT TRUMP EVEN HAS A HIGHER APPROVAL RATING. NEED I SAY MORE. TO BECOME UPPER MANAGENT YOU HAVE TO BE HIRED OUTSIDE OF DST. EXAMPLE NEW WOMEN CIO WHO HAS NO CLUE AT ALL. THEY FIND PROMOTING WITHIN IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. THE WOULD RATHER HIRE A REJECT FROM ANOTHER COMPANY THAT NO LONGER WANTS THEM. LAYOFFS STARTED IN 2008 WHEN HOOLEY TOOK OVER DST. THERE HAS BEEN AT LEAST ONE OR TWO LAYOFFS FOR THE MOST PART EVERY YEAR SINCE 2008. A GENERAL RULE IS THAT A COMPANY THAT HAS TO MAKE CUTS EVERY YEAR IS A POORLY RAN COMPANY AT THE TOP. THAT IS A FACT DST. GOD HELP ALL THE EMPLOYEES THAT ARE STILL THERE.

Was laid off today 10/4/17 from DST Health Solutions; heard two more of my staff were also included of a total about 80 employees DSTHS senior managememt tries but corporate management is clueless..
