I'm not at Corporate anymore ...What's the mood like? Are there any rumors as to when everyone will know the outcome of the sale?

Any news on when the big hammer will be coming down(mass layoff) ?
The executive team is out once the final sales papers are inked on September 21. Part of the process. Johnny M better have his ducks in a row to keep the CAB ship afloat until all his cronies are in place. Then the layoffs will begin. Immediately or six months from now--who knows! Or, who knows? Anyone???? There's always the chance that Johnny M will back out too. He'll owe money, but it might be cheaper in the long run! But, if the deal gets done, bye,bye public information! Anonymous sources will have to be cited then.

I agree with the poster and would fire everyone that created this mess-starting at the top.

What on earth does all this whining and moaning have to do with reality - absolutely nothing - spend the time you have searching for new opportunities - you are going to need every minute - and trust me, no one is going to hire a whiner. The company is sold, wth over a 5 billion dollar debt and Cabela's sales in the tank - Johnny is going to have to take immediate action to stop the bleeding. Should Tommy and crew be fired on day one and take the blame - absolutely. What is critical is that things are going to have to happen to avoid the entire Bass Pro ship going down. Either be part of the solution or start swimming.

What is to be expected is virtually no communication of this internally. Everyone is checked out
